I am really a brand-newbie to all of this, but from what I understand so far, in order to be listed high in the search engines, your site has to be Search Engine Optimized (SEO). You can pay others to do this for you, or you can do it your self.
Two sources that I know will teach you these techniques are the Veretekk system through their free training classes at http://www.veretekk.com, and also at Market-It! at http://www.market-it.com.
